Banquet planned, but the band may play on

The end of league play is in sight.  Next Tuesday, August 19, is the last week of individual (flight) and team competition.  The team championship match and scramble will be held August 26.

However, since there is still plenty of good golfing weather ahead, league members are invited to continue showing up at The Glen on Tuesdays. Tee times have been reserved at 4:30 and 4:40 on September 2, 16, 23 and 30, and October 7 and 14.

With the end of league competition in sight, our season-ending banquet has been planned for Tuesday, September 9, 5:00 p.m., at Lucky's on Regent.  Prize money will be awarded, the commissioner will report on finances, and league members can offer proposals for next year's format, schedule, etc.
