Week 2 Results and Standings are posted.
It was a beautiful May 15 evening and the first week of Match play. Team Jokisch took advantage of the Bye week to win all 6 points. The Commissioner considered giving his team a bye every week, but decided that perhaps that would be unfair. Team Molter was undeterred and also won all six points. Our defending champs, Team McEvilly was close behind with five points.
Keith Brown and Jim Zweifel had the best gross scores at 40, while Adam Hopkins showed that lat year's handicap was way too high and shot the low net of 28. The average score was 48, which I am sure will improve as the year goes along and everyone remembers how to read Glenway greens.
Matt Raymer decided he loves Bridgestone golf balls and won two of the four challenges - longest drive (does he win that every week?) on #4 and closest chip from off the green on #5. Dave Downing had longest putt on #2 and Eric Durkee had closest to the pin on #6.
