Tuesday, May 8 Scramble Results

Tuesday's scramble marked the opening of the 2018 UW Employee Golf League.  Scores were a little higher than past years as the greens were rock hard and getting approach shots to stay on the greens was very difficult.  Despite the challenges, Team McEvilly won the scramble handily with an even par 32 and Team Rieves edged Team Jokisch in the tie breaker 11 putts to 15 putts.  I will pass out the prize money to the two winning teams next Tuesday.

Here are all the scores:

  • Team McEvilly 32 (First Place)
  • Team Rieves 34 (11 putts) (Second Place)
  • Team Jokisch 34 (15 putts)
  • Team Kraus 35 (11 putts)
  • Team Raymer 35 (14 putts)
  • Team Molter 35
  • Team Katona 38
Oh and for those of you who forgot - please count putts next scramble - that is the tie breaker.

Other prize winners were as follows:
  • Longest Putt on #3: Ed Molter
  • Longest Drive on #4: Adam Hopkins
  • Closest to the pin 1st shot on #6: Dan Stanford
  • Closest Second Shot on #7: Bob Jokisch
Winners, please don't forget to collect your golf balls.

Finally, please note that the schedule, subs list, info sheet, and rules are now posted on the right of our web site.
