Congratulations to Team Downing, our 2019 first half champions of the University of Wisconsin Employee Golf League. Team Downing is comprised of Dave Downing, Mark Woodruff, Ed Molter, and Rob Zimmerman. They won the first half championship by two points with 29 points. Teams McEvilly and Dvorak finished tied for second with 27 points after they knocked each other out of contention in their head-to-head battle.
For week 8, the average score rose a bit again to 48. Only Mark Woodruff broke 40, shooting a 36. Jimmy Yednock and Jake Heller were next - each shooting 40. We only had two golfers break 30 net, with Jake Heller with a 28 and Mark Woodrufff with a 29.
