It was a beautiful, warm June day at Glenway and we saw some improvement in scores with the improvement in weather.
For week 5, the average scores improved to 47. We had four golfers break 40, led by Chad Schultz with a 35. Jimmy Redneck continued his strong play with a 37, while Dave Rieves and Aaron Kroth had 39s. Aaron Kroth and Dave Rieves had the lowest net score with 28s, while Matt Raymer, Andrew Preboski, and Al Crist had 29s. Ironically, Aaron and Al played each other, so Al lost despite an excellent score.
After the fourth week of the first half (Week 5 overall), the standings are much tighter, with Team Dvorak still in first place with 17.5 points. Team Raymer in second place with 17 points, and Teams Rieves and Downing tied for third with 15 points.

- Ambuj Shatdal - Closest to Pin First Shot on Hole #8
