Week 15 (August 21, 2018) Results and Standings

Week 15 Results and Standings are posted, along with Flight Tournament information.

It was an exciting battle to the finish for the second half championship.  Team Kraus v. Team Raymer.  Team Kraus entered the final week with a .5 point lead, but Team Raymer came from behind and edged out Team Kraus for the second half championship.  Congratulations to Team Raymer - Matt Raymer, Mike Sanders, Steve McDonnell, and Adam Hopkins.  Steve McDonnell led the way with a 36 and a 28 net - continuing his strong second half.  Team Raymer will now battle Team Molter for the overall title.  Tickets are available through ticketmaster, with the date of the championship yet to be determined.

For week 15, the average score was 43 - the best average score of the season. Six golfers broke 40 - also the best of the season.  Chris Pozza led the way with 33 - the best score of the season.  Brent Hemstead and Steve McDonnell shot 36, while Dave Downing, Mark Woodruff, and Dave Rieves shot 38.  Well done all!

Pat McEvilly Sr had low net score with a 24 - a real blow to Team Kraus - he beat Gary Bueller despite Gary shooting a net 27.  Andrew Preboski had another strong round with a net 25, while Chris Pozza had a net 26.  They both helped pull Team Jokisch out of last place for the second half.

Flight Tournament Winners were:
  • Flight 1: Zach Katona (88)
  • Flight 2: Mike Kraus (89)
  • Flight 3: Caleb Larson (78)
Flight 3 was a real battle of great scores, with Caleb beating out Andrew Preboski (79) and Gary Buehler (83).

Challenge Winners were as follows:
  • Dave Downing - Closest to Pin 2nd Shot on Hole #1
  • Dave Rieves - Closest to the Pin 1st Shot on Hole #3
  • Brent Hemstead - Longest Putt on Hole #8
  • Matt Raymer - Longest Drive on Hole #9
