Week 6 Results and Standings are posted.
Tuesday, June 12 was a little muggy but still another beautiful evening. Interestingly, the standings did not change as everyone stayed in the same position as after Week 5. Team Molter's lead decreased from 5 points to 3.5 points. However, they do have a Bye next week, so other teams will need a strong showing next week and hope Team Jokisch comes through in week 8 against Team Molter.
Week 6 results found the average score regress from a 46 last week to a 47 this week. I blame that on the absence of Dave Downing. Dave had low net score two weeks in a row and that obviously wore him out and he needed to take a week off.
Mark Woodruff had the low gross score this week with a 38, and Ambuj Shatdal shot a 40. The low net score was a 28 by Caleb Larson, Dan Stanford, and Ambuj Shatdal.
Three golfers had birdies this week:
- Zach Katona on #1
- Mark Woodruff on #3
- Al Crist on #6
On the challenges, Stephen McDonnell won closest to the pin on the first shot on hole #3. Mark Woodruff had longest drive on hole #4. Pat McEvilly Sr. and Ambuj Shatdal tied for longest putt on hole #6. Andy LeBeau had closest 2nd shot on hole #9. Congratulations to our challenges winners.
