Week 7 (June 23, 2020) Results and Standings

Week 7 of the UW Employee Golf League saw solid golfing by players.  We had 31 golfers this week and the average score was up slightly from last week at 47.  We had one golfer break 40, with Mark Woodruff shooting 38, while Jimmy Yednock shot 40.  Matt Raymer had the low net score with a 26, while Mike Brania had a net 28.  

Team McEvilly kept its strong lead in the standings with a total of 26 points. Team Downing moved into second place with 20.5 points heading into the final week of the first half.

No golfers reported a birdie this week.

Week 6 (June 16, 2020) Results and Standings

Week 6 of the UW Employee Golf League saw a strong comeback from the rainout the previous week.  We had 30 golfers this week and the average score was the lowest of the year at 46.  We had three golfers break 40, with Steve McDonnell, Mark Woodruff, and Dan Steinbring shooting 39.  Dave Rieves and Jimmy Yednock had the next best scores with 40.  Rob Zimmerman had the low net score with a 27.  Al Crist, Kevin Bailey, Chris Hammen, Steve McDonnell, and Bob Jokisch all had net 28.

Team McEvilly again expanded its strong lead in the standings with a total of 24 points. Second place is still Team Yancey with 18.5 points.

Week 5 (June 2, 2020) Results and Standings

Week 5 of the UW Employee Golf League saw golfers battling the heat.  The level of golf has stayed pretty constant from earlier weeks.  The average score was again 48.  We had 31 golfers this week.  We had one golfer break 40, with Mark Woodruff shooting 35.  Great job Mark!  Mike Brania had the next best score with a 41.  Kevin Baily and Tim Mattes shot net 27, while Mark Woodruff and Dan Steinhoff shot net 28.

Team McEvilly expanded its lead in the standings with a total of 19 points. Second place is still Team Yancey with 14 points.
