Week 10 was the start of the second half of the 2019 season for the UW Employees Golf League and it was a warm and sticky day - typical July weather in Wisconsin. The average score dropped a bit to 47. Jimmy Yednock and Scott Larson broke 40, each shooting a 38. Dave Rieves was next best with a 40. Pat McEvilly had the best net score with a 27, while Scott Larson, Dave Rieves, and Jeff Dvorak had 29.
The first week of the second half (Week 10 overall) has Teams Dvorak and Rieves in first with 6 points, Teams Downing and McEvilly in third with four points. Teams Kraus and Jokisch in fifth with 2 points, and Team Raymer in 7th with 0 points.
Challenge Winners were as follows:
- Scott Larson - Longest Putt on Hole #2
- Stephen McDonnell - Longest Drive on Hole #4
- David Downing - Closest to Pin First Shot on Hole #8
- Scott Larson - Closest to Switch on any number of shots on Hole #9 (I hear this was a collaborative suggestion from a number of golfers)
