Week 10 (July 17, 2018) Results and Standings

Week 10 Results and Standings are posted.

With the drop in temperature and humidity, it was almost a perfect night for golf.  The mosquitos were much better than last week.

Mike Kraus really put the sand in sandbag, by putting up the low net score of the year with a 22.  Look out for the Kraus team, which is right there in a first place battle with Team Raymer.

After Week 2 of the second half, Team Raymer leads Team Kraus by one point, with Team Jokisch in third, three points out of first.  Way too early for any team to panic, although last year's champs, Team McEvilly has a lot of ground to make up.

Week 10 saw average scores remain the same as the previous three weeks at 46.  Steve McDonnell was the only golfer to break 40, with a 38, the second straight week of breaking 40 for Steve - congratulations!  Four golfers shot 40 - Adam Hopkins, Dave Rieves, Scott Larson, and Keith Brown.  Keith continues to be in disbelief that he has only a 10 handicap.

Behind Mike Kraus's impressive low net of 22, three golfer had net scores of 27 - Caleb Larson, Steve McDonnell, and Andrew Preboski.

Congratulations to Matt Raymer for needing only 12 putts.  The rest of us usually stop counting putts after three or four holes.

Challenge Winners were as follows:
  • Connor Ball - Closest Chip from Off the Green on Hole #3
  • Rob Zimmerman - Longest Putt on Hole #7
  • Andrew LeBeau - Closest to the Pin 1st Shot on Hole #8
  • Mike Sanders - Longest Drive on Hole #9

Four golfers had birdies this week:
  • Amber Shatdal on Hole #3
  • Steve McDonnell on Hole #6
  • Chris Pozza on Hole #5
  • Eric Durkee on Hole #6
