Week 4 Results - May 13

The results from a less than ideal week 4 are posted to the right.  With the wet weather of the previous couple days, the greens were shaggy and difficult to putt.  Matt Raymer was the only one to figure them out, shooting a 39, net 28 (though I may need to check into the rumor that Shane Gibson conceded every putt Matt had within 10 feet).  The scoring average was up more than 3 strokes from the previous week.  The 225 strokes put up by the last foursome may have challenged the league record.

Also posted to the right is an updated sub list.  The three names in the middle (Nick Naus, Rex Merdinger, and Ben Shepard) are people referred by Glenway staff (thanks to them for that), and all are anxious to play.  We only had 35 golfers on May 13, so I hope that the additional subs will make it more likely that we get a 40 player turnout.

The controversy for the night revolved around the hole prizes.  The first group out neglected to identify the hole contest on #2, so the first Molter-Kraus pairing decided it should be for long putt.  Apologies to Keith Brown if it was intended to be for closest to the pin.
