Week 3 Results

Week 3 results and standings are now posted in the usual spot.

There's been no marked improvement in our scores from week 2.  Only two golfers beat their handicaps on Tuesday and five tied theirs.  Everyone else was either over their handicap or doesn't yet have one.  This is the last week for which we'll use both the "it's early" and "bad weather" excuses.  Next week we're down to the weather, and it's supposed to be nice out.

Of course, my opponent needed no excuses, as Ralph Stamler led the league with his 33 Tuesday - including one birdie (2) and two bogeys (3,6).  Chris Weber is rounding back into form with his 36 and sub Andy Sullivan finished with a 39.

The Moritz team is taking no prisoners this season, with 15.5 already banked, out of 18 possible points.  They haven't shaken everyone, though, as the Warren team is right behind them with 14.5 and the Webers and Molters are lurking within striking distance.

We're slowly filling up the league rosters.  The Warren team has added Jake Holler (who has been subbing for the first three weeks) and Dave Downing (who golfed in league for the first time this week).  The Nelson team is still looking for one more long-term golfer.

Edit: I updated Shawn McGettigan's contact info on the sub list.  Shawn is interested in subbing this summer.

See you Tuesday.
