Week 12 (July 26, 2022) Results and Standings

Week 12 was a pleasant night but golfers may have had a few too many beers.  The 32 golfers who played for our eight teams had an average score of 49 - a drop of 3 strokes from the previous week. Only one golfer, Jimmy Yednock, broke 40, while two golfers, Mark Woodruff and Keith Brown, shot 41.  Carl Akre had the low net score with a 30, while Rob Guenther and Mike Sanders shot net 31.  

The standings after four weeks in the second half found Team Jokisch in first with 19 points, Team Larson in second with 15 points, and Team Kraus in third with 13.5 points.

The first week's results of the Flight Tournament are listed on the right.  Just as a reminder, the league’s golfers are separated into three flights based on Week 12 handicaps.  Net scores are calculated for the last four weeks of the season will be calculated using the players week 12 handicap.  The three best net scores are summed for each golfer, and the golfer with the lowest combined net score in each flight is a tournament winner.  In case of ties, the prize money will be divided among those tied.

Seven birdies isn't too bad.  It really helps with Jimmy Yednock having three birdies for the second week in a row!  Congratulations Jimmy!
