Week 8 (June 29, 2021) Results and Standings

Week 8 of the UW Employee Golf League saw more great weather for golf.  Unfortunately, with the rain came a little less roll on shots.  The big news was that Team Kraus won the first half of the season!  Congratulations to Mike Kraus, Eric Durkee, Gary Buehler, and Tom Stafford.

Another item of big news is that the golf banquet will be Tuesday, September 7 at Tully's 2.  Happy Hour will be at 5:30 and Dinner at 6:30.  For those of you who are new, each person pays for their dinner and drinks.

We had 30 golfers for our eight teams and the average score went up slightly to 49.  No one broke 40 this week.  Jon Wellik and Scott Larson shot 41, with Ken Miller shooting 42.  Eric Durkee, Stephen McDonnell, and Jon Wellik had the low net scores at 32, while Ken Miller, Scott Larson, Dan Steinhoff, David Downing, Mike Blum, Phil Coan, and Mike Kraus had a net 33.
