It's time to confirm plans for 2026 and the 60th season of the Tuesday night UW men's golf league at The Glen Golf Park.
There are four things to note about the start of our season:
(1) New tee times
The Glen is going to send golfers out every 9 minutes. I will request that our league tee off at approximately 4:40, but no matter when we start we'll have to get used to odd times. Stay tuned.
(2) Greens fees
Once our league roster is submitted, you will receive an invoice from the city for payment of greens fees, $422 or $388.24 with purchase of a loyalty card. Information about loyalty cards and season passes can be found at https://www.cityofmadison.com/parks/golf/rates-passes.
(3) League fees
You can bring me cash or a check for $45, or Venmo that amount to me @David-Carlson-41.
(4) Opening scramble
League play is tentatively set to begin April 28 with a scramble, the schedule for which will be announced.
